Vivian's Room

I have been so ready to share Vivian's new space with you all! When we moved into the house, this room had only white contractor paint but a lot of potential! Viv kept talking about a pink princess room, so she finally got her wish! We went with Valspar's "Pink Wink" for a nice subtle shade of pink, but just enough pop of color to liven the room. If you know me, or you've been following the blog for a while, you know color when it comes to interiors kind of scares me. I'm a neutral lover however this completely has me swayed!

We wanted to keep it light & filled with all of her favorite things! Ponies, princesses, Peppa Pig, mermaids, unicorns, and lots of textures. In our old house, we had 2 areas that could be used for a dining room so we turned one into the playroom. In this house we don't have that option so I've kind of dispersed things among both her and Finn's room so that allowed for the dollhouse bookcase and kitchen to be moved into hers.

I absolutely love how it turned out, and most importantly Viv does too. Before she didn't really spend much time in her room (in the old house) mainly because the playroom was downstairs and of course that held all the fun toys & teepee and such. But now that her room isn't upstairs anymore, it's really great to see her go in here on her own and play and really have her own little space.
