Farmhouse Finds

Alright, I admit it. I'm completely and utterly obsessed with Fixer Upper on HGTV. My parents watch every new episode of it and I finally caved and had to see what all the fuss was about. Now I get it, and I want to redo every room in my house, haha.

There's something about industrial, meets soft, yet charming .. the whole new mixed with old type of thing going on, I dig it. I love it. Needless to say, I was so inspired I've been working around the house with things I already have and did a few switcharoo's and even made a new blanket ladder in the process from some old bamboo teepee poles I had in the garage. (Thanks to the movers who lost the teepee cover that went with it) So I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite farmhouse finds with you all that I think will make your space feel fresh without having to redo every single thing. I've learned sometimes it's better to work with what you have and just add a few little extra elements that will make the room feel brand new without having to go over board! Something you and your bank account will feel good about ;)

Boxwood Wreath / Galvanized Stand / Glass Jar / Sidekick Bowl / Clock / Wire Basket / Kitchen Towels / Pitcher / Candlesticks / Pillow

And I thought I'd share a sneak of our living room with the new blanket ladder made from teepee bamboo poles. The living room isn't complete yet, as I want to build a our coffee table & add a rug with a few extra decorative pillows. You may notice those mirrors from Finn's old room and Viv's dresser turned into a console with a little fresh update on the paint. We didn't have room in her room for it so mama had to make it work ;) What do you guys think?

Happy Tuesday!
