AUBURN, ALABAMA

We had so much fun this past weekend celebrating Chase's aunt's wedding! I'm not sure if I've said before, but Chase is originally from Alabama so we ventured up to Auburn to join in on all the festivities! We got there Friday evening and enjoyed time with family that some we haven't seen since our wedding, and others who haven't seen us since Vivian was about 6 months old so it was really nice to have that time to get together and enjoy everyone's company!

Saturday morning we had some down time before the wedding that afternoon and of course as most of you probably know and understand, when traveling with little ones you are BOUND to either a. forget something or b. lose something along the way ONLY to find it after the fact. So we did have to run out to Target (surprise?) for diapers but next door was Old Navy where we also to buy Viv a new pair of shoes because we could not find hers anywhere! Like anywhere. Until we got home and they were buried in a shirt ... of course ;) We picked up these adorable pink jelly sandals that Viv picked and I also snagged these cute little pair too. For Finn, I guess I didn't realize how almost miserably hot it was still going to be, so we picked up this lighter one piece for him that kept him comfy for the rest of the night!

^^ FINN IS JUST LIKE, WHERE'S THE FOOD?
^^ YALL ALREADY KNOW ONE OF MY FAVORITES OF A WEDDING IS THE CAKE ;)
^^ AND I'M A HUGE SUCKER FOR WEDDING FLOWERS
^^ FINN PASSED OUT ON HIS GREAT GRANDFATHER

The wedding was filled with lots of love & excitement and the reception was filled with that also, plus wine. Lots and lots of wine. And mama was thirsty ;) The flowers were gorgeous with the lights in the trees with a few gold chandeliers here and there. The house overlooked a lake and paired with the band that played so many good songs, it was such a fun and perfect atmosphere to let loose and have a ball! We danced for I can't even tell you how long, ate enough cake to last me until my next new year's resolution of not eating sweets (won't happen), and poor Chase got to pay for it all the next morning. Beer 1, Chase 0.

We were absolutely beat by Sunday morning but we did enjoy a quick breakfast at the hotel before heading back home. Now we are trying to establish somewhat of a routine which for now includes catching up on sleep & planning little man's FIRST birthday that is this week! How is this possible??? I don't even know. Let the Mickey extravaganza begin! Ohhh tooodlessss ;)

Have a great week friends!
