OUR NEW KITCHEN

Hey guys! Yesterday we finally got our internet back so it is SO refreshing to get back into my blogging schedule because I feel like I've missed so much and missed sharing so much too! If you don't already know, we've moved! I know some of you are thinking, again? Haha. If you've been following along I'm sure you may have noticed a slight drop in both blog posts and social media and this is why. To make a really long story short, Chase reenlisted in the Marine Corps back in May of last year and I'll be honest when I say the second enlistment for us up to this point had been nothing but absolute stress and anxiety. We ended up having the option to get out so needless to say at this point, you know what we chose ;) I have to say that making that decision to leave that lifestyle after almost 6 years was a little scary however, so far it has been one of the best decisions we've made for our family. I'll touch on that, our experience, and things I wish I would have known before becoming a military spouse in a blog post coming soon!

With that said, we finally made it with the help of lots of coffee and determination to our new home in Birmingham, AL! Chase took a job here as a Senior Security Analyst & this past week we have been settling in in our new house, unboxing the load of never ending boxes, enjoying seeing all of our family, and trying as hard as we can to maintain somewhat of a schedule for the kids and their extra curricular activities! Speaking of the new house, one of my favorite parts about it is the kitchen! I had to take a few snaps to share with you guys because it really is stunning. We moved in just a few days before Mother's Day so while we were bringing things over from our storage unit, I was able to get a few pictures of it before all the goldfish crumbs make their way in and the flowers wilted ;) Can't wait to share more of the house with you all!

I hope you loved today's peek into our new place! What would your dream kitchen look like? What would you HAVE to have and what could you not deal with?? I want to know!

And a sidenote: I'm so excited to be back and beyond thrilled for the fun things coming! I love you guys and thank you as always for following along with me. You will never understand how much your support really means to me. Thank you for making this blog possible. Truly.
