Step by Step Fall Skincare Routine With Clarisonic

This post is sponsored by Clarisonic and Her Campus Media.

Happy Thursday you guys! As I've gotten older, skincare has become one of my favorite things to try! It's takes me soo long to find ride or die products because a lot of products I've tried don't really make me feel like they're making a difference in my skin. Most of the products I've used, I've used for years like the Neutrogena Face Wipes, who doesn't love those?! But I do love love love trying out new products! I've kind of simplified how many products I use each night because I feel like too many products on your face can't be good. I'm going to walk you through my fall skincare routine & what I've found so far that keeps my skin feeling refreshed and renewed!

Step 1: Cleanse my face. I usually will add a little of my Chanel Mousse Confort cleanser ( Recommended for dry skin, I've used this stuff since high school!) onto my Clarisonic Mia 1 for an extra deep cleansing. I swear by my Clarsonic & have used the Mia 2 for years!! Another cleanser I really like is the Philosophy Purity one, I kind of flip flop between these two but the Purity cleanser removes EVERYTHAAANG.

Step 2: Toner. Right now I've been loving Rose Petal Thayers Witch Hazel & I also love the Chanel's Lotion Confort (also been using since high school!). They're both really refreshing and make your skin feel soooo good!

Step 3: Moisturizer. Ok now this is something I've tried a lot of! I got a sample of Erno Laszlo's White Marble Translucence Cream and OMG YALL, I LOVE IT!! Whatever is in it is truly magic. I take things with a grain of salt when products claim to be "brightening" but this really was and I felt so confident with no makeup on when I applied this! I use this in the mornings too! Some of my other favorite moisturizers include Clinque's Moisture Surge, a good drugstore option I like is the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream. Also another moisturizer that works fabulously is Jojoba Oil + Young Living's Frankincense. I usually do 7-8 drops jojoba + 1 drop of frank - works great!

Optional but recommended: I also exfoliate once a week since my skin is really dry. If you have normal/combo skin, I would exfoliate twice a week. Right now my holy grail exfoliater is the Erno Laszlo's Vitamin C Peel. IT IS SO GOOD. And basically makes your face smell like a fresh glass of orange juice.

A few things about the Clarisonic:

  • If you're not familiar with the Clarisonic, it's an amazing tool to have that sonic cleanses! It gently deep cleans your pores while improving your skins texture and overall appearance. It rids your skin of bacteria, makeup, & environmental toxins without abrasion which makes your skin more receptive to skincare ingredients!
  • There are several options when choosing your Clarisonic - The Mia 1 ($129) features one speed and is perfect for on the go! It's suitable for all skin types, is waterproof & cleanses up to 6x better than your own hands :)
  • Clarisonic also has their Pore & Blemish Gel Cleanser ($18) designed for sensitive, acne prone skin that targets blackheads, excess oil, and pimples for clearer looking skin.
  • Depending on your skin type, there are different options for brush heads. ($27) Have acne prone skin? Try the Acne Brush Head. Enlarged pores? The Deep Pore Brush Head is for you! The Mia 1 include the Radiance Brush Head and is ideal for all skin types that will deliver a luxurious cleansing. (my favorite of the three right now!) ** Replace your brush heads every three months for optimal effectiveness.
  • I've used the Mia 2 for years and after using the Mia 1 - the only real differences I see between the two is the Mia 1 is more compact so it's great for travel while the Mia 2 offers two speeds instead of one. The Mia 1 has one speed that is universal while the Mia 2 has both a univeral speed & delicate. I love them both equally!!

  • // AND Just for you guys, you can get your Mia 1 + all other Clarisonic devices 15% off HERE!!! Use the code HERCAMPUS
** Clarisonic also offers a monthly payment plan upon credit approval. I mean, for less than a latte a week, you can have clearer looking skin for life & who doesn't want that?!
